
Israeli-Style Za'atar Baked Salmon with Tahini
A single portion of Israeli cooking, ready in 20 minutes with 6 minutes of prep. Written for one, so there is nothing to halve and nothing to waste.
Method

Preheat the oven to 200C (fan 180C).

Rub the salmon with the oil and za'atar and place on a tray with the cherry tomatoes.

Bake for 12–14 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and the tomatoes have softened.

Meanwhile mix the tahini with the garlic, a squeeze of lemon juice and enough water to loosen to a drizzling consistency.

Taste and adjust the seasoning.

Cook the couscous according to the packet instructions and serve alongside the salmon and tomatoes, drizzled with the tahini sauce.
